About us

Limulunga is a non-profit association based in Löhne, Germany, which has set itself the task of providing support to children and young people in need in the region around Limulunga, Zambia. The aim is to alleviate the effects of HIV and AIDS in the long term.
This is done in several ways:
• By providing food, clothing and medical supplies
• By arranging foster families for orphans, half-orphans and children, adolescents and young people in need of support
• By guaranteeing schooling and vocational training
• By building sponsorships
We cooperate with other local, regional and international organizations, the Limulunga community, the Mongu district and the government of Zambia.
Our association has been supporting the Aids orphan project "Liyoyelo" in Limulunga, Zambia since 2003. Currently, 13 girls are supported in foster families by assuming school costs, food and hygiene articles and by arranging sponsorships.
