About us

ImPower’d Woman is a registered Non-Profit Organisation (NPO), established in July 2019.
ImPower’d Woman is a network of women who believe in their own strength. We aim to empower, educate and celebrate women across Southern Africa.

The vision is for ‘an empowered Woman who is celebrated for who she is’.

Through its services, ImPower’d Woman NPC has a great passion in empowering lives through self-empowerment initiatives, impact driven training and facilitation to develop and activate the highest level of woman potential. Stakeholder partnership is key to our success. We have vast experience in social development programmes, and work with experts in different areas to ensure success in all our programmes.
Project:
ImPower’d Woman Book Club is a reading initiative established in July 2019, as part of the BMF Women In Power: Lift as you rise Project, a course attended by our Founder Ms. Mulalo Nemataheni.
The key objectives of the reading initiative were:
• To encourage young women to reach their full potential as independent readers and leaders.
• To provide opportunities for young women to develop the knowledge and necessary skills.
• To provide resources (as appropriate) to support and develop the enjoyment of reading.
The Book Club was implemented with 2 young women in Lwamondo Village, Limpopo Province, who were post matric. This was done in a form of capacity building and empowering a girl child. We had book review sessions at Thohoyandou Botanical Gardens, and these sessions were open to our friends, both men and women. The sessions allowed us to share our experiences and learnings, build public speaking skills and team engagement dynamics. With the pandemic and lockdown, the book club became virtual, and book review sessions are now held on WhatsApp and Zoom

Mulalo Nemataheni is the Founder of ImPower’d Woman.
