About us

Pardada Pardadi Educational Society is a non-profit, non-government organization working in Anupshahr, Bulandshahr district, Uttar Pradesh since 2000 with a vision to create an equitable society where rural women have an equivalent share in the persistent growth of the nation. In order to encourage and empower rural girls from the disadvantaged community, PPES provides them free education, job opportunities, healthcare, and livelihood enhancement and enables them to break out of the cycle of poverty.

What we do
Education
• The education program of Pardada Pardadi Educational Society (PPES) empower girls socially and economically. The main focus of the program is to encourage each girl to become an independent thinker and self-learner.
• Pardada Pardadi runs four schools affiliated by U.P. Board, out of which two primary schools are Satya Bharti Schools, managed by PPES. The pre-primary school is Emma Horne School and senior school is Pardada Pardadi Inter College. Along with this, PPES is associated with Bhagwati Sarla Paliwal Inter College Jattari in Aligarh as a knowledge partner.
• Enabling Environment for Education: Along with offering free education, PPES also provides study material, uniform, stationery, health facilities, transportation and 3 meals a day free of cost.
• Value-based, child centric education: Primary school follows the Satya Bharti school system, which focuses on activity-based learning aimed at improving the overall scholastic experience. PPES enables girls to learn and practice life skills through classes and extracurricular activities. Personality development classes include Human Rights, Women empowerment, Art, Theatre, Public Speaking, etc. In addition to the above, as a part of project activity, to inculcate the sense of “Giving Back to society” in the girls, they work for their community such as planting trees, making them sensible towards their surroundings.
Economic Empowerment
• PPES strives to make socially empower women by making them financially independent. Women and girls are made financially secure by facilitating professional higher education, enhancing their skills, and providing jobs (in partnership with I Village). Unskilled and semi-skilled women are given on-the-job training in stitching, hand embroidery, and machine embroidery.
Community Development
• In order to address the issue of equality and rights for women, PPES set up a Community Development Division (CDD). Via the CDD, PPES ensures the economic empowerment of these women by enhancing their livelihoods and creating saving and inter-loaning options, at the same time ensuring social empowerment through eradicating discrimination.
• SHG: PPES initiated the formation of Self-help groups of women in villages to make them socially and economically independent.
• Dairy Best Practices: Training to provide balanced diet to the animal; Proper insemination of animals for better breed; Immunisation of animals; Milk Collection centers
• Agriculture Best Practices: Women are trained on the following requirements and best practices of agriculture: Good quality seeds; Balanced dose of fertilizers; Timely sowing and harvesting; Integrated insect and pest management (IPM)
• Green Energy Initiative as a part of Community Development: PPES piloted a solar grid through the self-help groups.
