One Aid One Soul is a community-based organization located in the rural Sironko District. One Aid One Soul is a charity located in Eastern Uganda created to empower vulnerable children, elderly and other community members through sensitization, rehabilitation and talent development in different social and ecological projects. With the support of family members and volunteers, One Aid One Soul is currently supporting 30 children under the age of 13 years and 4 elders above 40 years. We hope to be able to help more people as the organization develops. Our goal is to start an elderly care and child development center.

Our mission
We wish to support vulnerable children, elders, abandoned people and the wider community around them by transforming their lives through education, rehabilitation, talent development and good moral growth.

Our vision
Starting from Eastern Uganda, we seek a world where all people grow into their highest potentials and live according to virtues such as truthfulness and integrity.

Projects:
• Art and craft project: We teach children various craft skills for example making hand bags, hats, mats, etc. Art and craft lessons are scheduled every Saturday after their boarding school studies.
• Hygiene and sanitation project: We sensitize children about having access to facilities for the safe disposal of human waste (feces and urine), as well as having the ability to maintain hygienic conditions, through services such as garbage collection, industrial/hazardous waste management, and wastewater treatment and disposal.
• Ecology project: We sensitize children how people and nature depend on one another through planting trees and visiting beautiful nature. It's our major concern to understand ways human activities affect earth over time.
• Elderly Care Project
• Health Project 'Jigger Run': Thousands of people in the Uganda suffer from jiggers and other bacterial diseases. 'Jigger Run' is a project to save those effected by jiggers and also help them in prevention from other bacterial diseases. We sensitize people how to prevent such diseases and directly help those actually affected.

John Tojoro is the Founder of One Aid - One Soul.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
