Malnutrition Eradication Project (MEP) is developed by a student of Human Nutrition and Dietetics who come from Northern Uganda in 2017. MEP is located along Kampala-Gulu road, Oyam district, Northern Uganda

The major activities of MEP -Project will be done under supervision, monitoring and evaluation and according to the established guidelines generated by Ministry of Health and other health professionals.

Mission
Our mission is supporting community development and sustainability through integration of Nutrition and Agricultural livelihood.

Vision
A malnutrition free Kamdini obtained through integration of Nutrition and Agriculture.

Our motto:
Excellence in community services, nutrition and agricultural integration and the general well being

Key activities of the project:
• Nutritional assessment, referral and follow-up.
• Nutritional counseling and guidance.
• Promotion of infant and young child feeding practices and exclusive
• Training of VHTs and CHEWs on the identification of severe acute
• Training the farmers on the efficient kitchen and backyard farming practices to ensure food security.
• Providing the farmers with the current information on the use of the fast maturing and disease resistance crop varieties.
• Extension of agricultural services to the small scale farmers.
• Community outreach.
• Development and marketing of natural fortificants and micro-nutrient suppleme

Daniel Etot is the Chief Executive Officer of the Malnutrition Eradication Project (MEP).

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
