Qui sommes-nous

The Aid for Africa group, founded in September 2019, has set itself the task of combating the causes of an exodus from the country by helping people to help themselves. We want to try to eliminate grievances at home and to help give people a chance to be able to finance themselves. This also requires jobs to be created with appropriate financial and organizational assistance. Since we certainly can't save the world in a day, we will look for smaller aims as a start and thereby gain experience. It will certainly not be easy, but if nobody does anything, nothing will change. We will also try to make sure that every cent arrives where it is intended, except for fees that are unfortunately incurred. (No bank does anything for free, even if it is for a good cause). I hope that all members of this group get involved and help, I would like to thank you all for that.

Activities
• Infants with malaria or with eye problems have been successfully treated by a doctor.
• We have founded a small pig breeding business, where the first piglets were born in mid-May.
• We have given money for a street refurbishment object and introduced a community system in which every household pays what they can afford to buy the appropriate tools. This is only a trial system but it has been well received. Now we would like to introduce a kind of health insurance that we would of course support..
• The school roof still needs to be repaired, the well is not deep enough and brings too little water.
• We gave advice related to the Corona virus and our liaison officer requested a loudspeaker car from Lome to make it more public, that was a great success.
• So it is really about the fact that this village and then other villages become financially independent and operate a reasonable economy among themselves and with each other. That is our goal.

Manfred Sieradzinski is the initiator of the group Aid for Africa.

On request, we can provide advice to other network participants in the area: Aid for Africa.
