SERAC- Bangladesh is a Non Government, Non Political Law and development organization. It started life in 1991 with the initiation of a group of educated, dedicated social workers with an aim to promote the socio economic and cultural status of the rural poor and vulnerable people, emphasizing the women and children through capacity building.

SERAC-Bangladesh has been established in 1991 as a social welfare voluntary organization.

Vision: SERAC-Bangladesh envisions developing a platform for the disadvantaged
people in order to remove illiteracy, discrimination & social injustice and establish constitutional rights like health, legal protection, livelihood, and others.

Mission: The mission of SERAC-Bangladesh is to work for creation of an environment which entails a sustainable and achievable development of Education, Health, Livelihood, youth policy and other right based approaches for the poor and vulnerable community.

The main areas of SERACs working interest are to develop the socio-economic condition of the beneficiaries and target people through various programs like:
• Education(Primary, Mass and non Formal),
• Health & Family Planning,
• Fisheries, Forestry,
• Nursery,
• Human Rights,
• Legal Aid,
• Supply of pure drinking water, Sanitation,
• Group formation, Women and Child Development,
• Support by Credit, Income Generating Activities and facilitating poor people in order to create a safe economic platform for them.

For other net participants we can offer overnight facilities. Also we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
