About us

The Keshav Suri Foundation (KSF) was launched on 13th October 2018 by Dr. Jyotsna Suri, Chairperson & Managing Director, The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, in the presence of thought leaders from various fields, at the First National Dialogue, Queering the Pitch – Agents of Change.
After the prodigious success of #PureLove Campaign, hotelier Keshav Suri, introduced the Keshav Suri Foundation to highlight the issues faced by the deeply marginalised LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans* and Queer) community. The Foundation ties up with It gets Better Project – a global platform to uplift, empower, and connect the LGBTQIA+ community. The objective of the foundation is to bring forth the unheard voices of people from the community to the fore.
‘Rights,’ for centuries has been an arbitrary word for the LGBTQIA+ community, granted on the whims and fancies of the gathering present. Even in the 21st century, the LGBTQIA+ community has been denied basic rights like Right to Dignity, Personal Liberty, Health, Education, and Freedom of Expression.
The motto of the foundation is to embrace, empower, and main stream the community. The Keshav Suri Foundation is building a discrimination free platform, enabling community members to share their stories and stigmas – physical, emotional or mental.

Our Mission :
To embrace, empower and mainstream the LGBTQIA+ Community.

Our Objectives :
• Provide employable skills opportunities to the LGBTQIA community.
• To sensitize workspaces to accept diversity as a way of life.
• To work towards gender neutral policies & benefits.

The Keshav Suri Foundation is proud to have initiated mental health care services for the LGBTQIA+ community, allies as well as the public at large.
The World Health Organization defines mental health as a state of well being in which every individual:
• Realizes their own potential
• Can cope with day to day stressors
• Can work productively and fruitfully
• Is able to make a contribution to their community
The WHO further defines Health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely an absence of disease or infirmity.
While prioritizing mental health-care, KSF is offering counselling/psychotherapeutic services free of cost to anyone who wishes to avail them.
Our services are completely confidential in accordance with internationally accepted best practice confidentiality guidelines.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
