About us

Matri Sudha is a non-government organization work with children since 2001. Matri Sudha works directly with children and community to address grass root problem of child health and nutrition, education and protection. Moreover, participation of children in each and every programme helps to create a platform to raise voice against injustice and inequality. Empowering children and communities to address the issue in a rightful way make sustainable change in the community.

What we do
• Integrated Programme for Nutrition Improvement: Community Outreach; Strengthening Delivery Mechanism; Research and Advocacy
• CATSE (Collective Action Towards School Education): The concept is based on to get a child in school and remain in school till he or she completes her complete school education.
• Children Action Group: We conduct monthly interactive sessions with them where they put forth their ideas, suggestions and any concerns related to their school education, family, school or community; the issues which have direct or indirect implications on children lives.
• Research and Advocacy: Our research work includes Baseline survey and analysis of findings; Fact Findings; Collection of primary data through field research and filling of applications under right to information; Analysis of secondary data; Social Action Research and Conducting knowledge, attitude and practice studies, impact assessment studies etc.
• Capacity Building: Interaction with You on Child Rights- Sharing Learning Platform for College Students
• Child Rights Network: Bal Bigul- Haryana Alliance for Child Rights; Alliance for People’s Rights

Surender Singh is the President of Matri Sudha.
