About us

Tasimo Organization, registered in 2019, is a non-profit making charity operating in Tanzania. Tasimo has come to address the challenge and provide immediate solutions to vulnerable and stranded,people who are suffering because of their economic hardship.
These are people who are at high risk of being subjected to economic hardship, diseases and internally displaced people who have been forced or obliged to flee or to leave their homes or places of habitual residence, in particular as a result of or in order to avoid the effects of armed conflict, situations of generalized violence, violation of human rights or human-made disasters, and who have crossed an internationally recognized state border such as single women, children, unaccompanied minors and those with special medical or psychological needs.

Activities:
• To improve economic status and livelihood for marginalized rural girls and women of Mbeya region: This organization assists women to empower themselves and build skills to them manly poorest rural Women and girls. Teaches them basic thing like catering, daily farming business, And other things.
• To help bring life to the community through providing fresh, clean drinking water for community members in four villages in Kyela: The project aims to uplift the rural communities to improve their lives, so, by starting with their primary needs such as water a one of the steps towards sustainable and health livelihood. The project is expected to rehabilitate three major water wells saving more than 2,772 families. Hence, the Project aims to increase access to safe drinking water, this way will contribute to a reduction of the child mortality. This will help to reduce the health costs encountered by communities in these three villages.
