Qui sommes-nous

Community Development Centre (CDC) is Greater Dinajpur based Disable Person’s,Eco- Social Development & Human Rights Organization. Some volunteers of the area founded it in 1992.

CDC emphasizes education of the poor women, disable persons indigenous people especially those with fewer 0.5 acres of land. CDC emphasizes improvement of the quality of life through productive and income generation activities.
Its primary focus is on empowering the vulnerable women, disable persons, indigenous people through self-help groups. Including indigenous peoples women and disable into groups and encouraging their participation are therefore considered crucial for CDC. It facilities quality training and human resource development as imparting skill awareness of their own rights and available opportunities.

Vision
To promote the socio-economic conditions of the under privileged Persons With Disabilities (PWDs), indigenous & minority group, man, women, child, youth group , land less people and ensuring the human rights in society.

Mission
The mission of CDC is to bring socio-economic and culture development in the lives of minority women & children and disable person’s in northern part of Bangladesh through forming village development committee strengthening their knowledge and skill to become self-employed and independent.

Objectives:
• To build up capacity for disable persons.
• To formation disable self-help group.
• Community based rehabilitation to the disable persons.
• Ensure health rights to the community rural people.
• Provide health service to the poor people.
• To buildup awareness in tobacco control law.
• To reduce poverty through assisting for incasing family income generating activities and promotion of micro enterprise.
• To ensure sustainable agriculture program
• To empower the vulnerable woman of the society, indigenous people & minority group through assisting for building capacity for leadership and organization.
• To create awareness about health, nutrition and sanitation.
• To create awareness about gender.
• To create awareness about land rights & its maximum uses.
• To establish sustainable Village Development Organization (VDO).
• To establish peace full society through providing legal support & concept about human rights, women rights and child rights etc.
• To buildup awareness in road safety.
• To create awareness about environment & climate justice.
• To educate empowerment.
• To consumer rights promotion & food safety.
• To ensure e-health service to the community people.

Jadab Chandra Roy is the Executive Director of Community Development Centre (CDC).

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
