About us

Sikshana Foundation started in 2003 by a group of professionals to improve the quality of education delivered by the public school system has evolved over the years to be able to work with various government institutions to help improve the quality of services rendered. The foundation was set up to work in collaboration with the government and develop sustainable and scalable models which can be integrated with the existing government work flows.

Design and implement student centric learning experiences. Synergize with the government at all levels. Share and transfer knowledge.

Programs:
School Programs
• Prerana - A motivational model: Create a motivational model to motivate students to attend school, maintain personal hygiene and participate in various activities without fear of failure; Create a structure for a social classroom that leverages the benefits of peer learning and group work; Inculcate the habit of structured practice in every student; Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention
• FLN - Foundational Literacy and Numeracy referring to proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy
• STEP: STEP is geared towards motivating schools to engage and integrate technology in their daily teaching and learning processes.
• Girl Child Initiative: Sikshana's Girl Empowerment Program (SGEP) is completely focused on empowering the girls from socio-economically backward families; Women in Engineering
Community Programs
• Grama Digi Vikasana (GDV): GDV focuses on building digital infrastructure and new solutions for rural remoteness, promoting digital literacy.
• Community Health Initiative
