About us

Rural Women Stronghold Helpers Foundation (RuWoSh) was founded in the year 2012 and got registered 2017.

What we do
Our field of actions is to help people stay comfortably in their country, reducing poverty level and discouraging them from illegal migration.
• Provide community services in rural areas.
• Render provisional help to the needy in the society to reduce the level of poverty and unemployment.
• Enlighten women and youths on being self-dependent discouraging them from dangers of illegal migration.
• organize seminars and talks on illegal migration and its risk.
• work in collaboration with other organizations that has the interest of the community in rural areas in rendering help and advice.
• going to rural area and people in the community, know what they are passing through and strategizing on how we can help them in solving their problems.
• raising help financially for those that does not have money to further their academics.
• those not interested in academics we enroll them in a vocational school to learn one skill or the other. all this is aiming at helping them to get busy, meeting their need financially. And thus, reducing the rate at which they migrate illegally to other countries in search of greener pasture.

• Save Migration Dialogue (SAMIDA) in co-operation with cagintua: With the project "Save Migration Dialogue (SAMIDIA) RuWoSh informs in co-operation with cagintua (campaign for government of international unity in africa) about the life situation of illegal migrants in Germany. Despite information circulating, illegal migrants do not have an easy life in Germany.
• Employment and Migration Information in Nigeria (EMIN) in co-operation with cagintua: We train women and men as professional hair dressers and migration information multiplicators. These young women and men will have the opportunity to use their professional hair dressers certificates to work as hair dressers and earn money. They will speak to customers during the time they are working on the hair, discussing about dangers involved in illegal travelling through the sea, desert and Libya where young women and men from Africa are now being sold openly in slave markets.
• Oko Wa hopes to welcome voluntary returning failed asylum seekers and volunteers who may be interested in offering assistance in permaculture farming in the near future. The returnees will be able to share their experience with the young locals at „OKO WA. The volunteers shall be free to contribute to the development of the permacultre farm.

Dr. T.C.Ajuwon is the Chairwoman of Rural Women Stronghold Helpers Foundation (RuWoSh).

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
