MITHRA International Foundation, founded in 2009, is a non-profit corporation with two principal goals:
• Promoting and popularizing Bulgarian and European cultural traditions within the local communities.
• Providing underprivileged children with opportunities for quality education.

Mission
Mithra International Foundation´s mission is promotion of Bulgarian culture and historical heritage. Thus, we offer you a tour to Bulgaria´s most important landmarks. By taking our tour you support Mithra´s mission to provide underprivileged Bulgarian children better life chances by empowering them through education, art and culture as well as social integration.

MITHRA´s purpose is to address other needs of disadvantaged children – the need of feeling and becoming a part of the society, the need of growing in a safe environment where the accent is on personal growth.

Our Beliefs
We believe that in the 21st century knowledge is the most important tool for personal growth and success. Acquiring quality education and skills as well as developing talents are the key to a better future for each person. We believe that the best investment is in children´s education and development.

Our Focus
Being a social outcast as a result of detrimental circumstances beyond children´s control could be a lifetime curse. MITHRA´s goal is to reintroduce underprivileged children into our modern society by taking care of their education and developing their talents and skills as well as building their self-esteem and self-confidence.

Our Greater Goal
Our ultimate goal is the creation and establishment of an eco-friendly boarding school for underprivileged children in Bulgaria which would give them the same chances of success in life as their peers surrounded by the affection and support of their families.
