Qui sommes-nous

Child Aid Foundation (C.A.F.) was legally registered in 1993 as a non-profit, non-political, secular, public charitable trust in the service of underprivileged and unfortunate children. C.A.F. is running several residential and non-residential children´s aid and care projects from their center in Andhra Pradesh, India.

The Goal
The main objective is to enable poor and needy children to pursue and complete their education to as high a level as they desire and are capable of achieving. To do this, Child Aid Foundation provides comprehensive aid and care to children, boys and girls, of all ages and academic levels on both a residential and non-residential basis. This aid and care includes nutritious food, clothing, shelter, education, vocational training, medical care, counseling, and job placement.

Projects:
• Vidya Education Project: This project includes C. A. F.´s own residential and non-residential high school division from the first to the tenth class/grade for both boys and girls. All the children in this division receive free: transportation to and from school; education; textbooks; notebooks; school supplies; midday meals; school uniforms; clothing; medical care. After the 10th class/grade, they are admitted in various higher educational institutions in the city such as colleges, polytechnics, I.T.I.s and vocational training institutes. C. A. F. continues to sponsor all of their educational and/or living expenses as long as they remain full-time students and to as high a level as they desire and are capable of achieving.
• Ashraya Home Project: This is the residential project wherein about fifty children of various ages and academic levels reside in C. A. F.´s own hostel (dormitory) division full time and receive comprehensive aid and care. Such aid and care includes nutritious food, clothing, shelter, medical care, education, vocational training, counseling, and job placement.
• Balika Girls Project: This is the non-residential project for girls of all ages and academic levels. The children in this division may reside anywhere, such as urban slums and impoverished villages. C. A. F. sponsors any or all of their educational and/or living expenses as long as they remain full time students, and to as high an academic level as they desire and are capable of achieving. This enables the girls to pursue and complete their education, as well as to obtain good occupations and become fully self-reliant.
