Über uns

Faith Victory Association (FVA) is a christian faith based and non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to providing orphans, women, and minors a safe haven, training, schooling, and opportunities since 2003.

Our mission is to facilitate processes that break the cycle of poverty, reduce HIV infections, combat domestic violence and help communities build programs to distribute resources to Rwandese for the purpose of creating a prosperous society, peace, reconciliation, care, and well being for all persons.

FVA aims to restore hope and is doing so by providing scholarships to orphans, job training to women, counseling to genocide survivors, domestic violence education and therapy. This is all in accomplished in an eco-friendly environment.

Programs:
• Volunteer Program: A vital program of FVA is that of our volunteer opportunities. This program gives volunteers the opportunity to support the unprivileged communities of Rwanda. Our Community Outreach Program, Medical Program, Children´s Program, and our Literacy Program will greatly impact the lives of people in these surrounding areas.
• Faith Village: The design team has endeavored to plan a village type estate that will incorporate several environmentally friendly features: Solar panels, Rainwater harvesting; Treatment and re-use water; Use building materials that are sustainable and protect the environment
• Children Program: FVA as an organization promotes child rights. FVA deals with all aspects of child abuse. In our children programs, interventions against child work and child labor are priority. FVA initiated a child rights monitoring system in 12 districts. In partnership with Care International, we have initiated the Village Savings and Loan (VSL) approach helping poor women to generate income from their own small savings. We have trained women in these districts on the small-scale business initiatives and we are witnessing a remarkable change.
