About us

Dare to Dream was founded in January 2001 and is a non-profit public benefit organisation, working primarily with children with life threatening illnesses, including HIV / AIDS Positive children, orphans, street children, abused and the very vulnerable children in our area with the aim to bring restoration to mind, body and soul.

Our aim is to take children from ages 7 to 14 years old on camps lasting up to 7 days, absolutely free, helping to bring emotional relief, laughter and joy into their lives giving them a hope for the future
There is no cost for a child or organizations that send children to camp; all camp fees are paid by us through fundraising.

The camps focus will be to provide the children the opportunity to:
• Experience adventure
• Learn life skills
• Play games
• Make new friends
• Talk about their problems and fears with trained staff & volunteers
• To enjoy the fellowship of those who are experiencing similiar problems

David Tappin is the Founder of Dare to Dream.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
