Sobre nosotros

Children's Sure House (CSH) is a community based, non-governmental organization, established in Uganda in 1993 to assist the vulnerable children-orphans whose parents died of HIV/AIDS; those whose parents died in the previous decades of political turmoil in Uganda, children who are dumped by their own parents and later become victims of circumstances and others whose parents are below the poverty line.

CSH envisages in serving the underprivileged, vulnerable, illiterate, prisoners, widowers, poor and the HIV/AIDS infected and affected communities of Uganda regardless of their tribal, religious, social, racial and economic backgrounds. The main projects of the organization are in Kiwangala Village, Kiseka Sub-county in Masaka district which is 180 km from Kampala (the capital of Uganda.), Bulenga Village Wakiso District, 10 kilometers from the capital city (Kampala).

It has a mission of building confidence, esteem and morals of vulnerable children and the underprivileged members of the society through networking with other organizations, the community and all other stakeholders. The objectives through which it aspires to achieve this mission are through:

- the continual interaction with the community members,
- understanding the needs of the community,
- identifying required sources of knowledge,
- providing information through CSH'S networks and partners,
- facilitating access to necessary assistance,
- providing resources of bringing knowledge and information to the community members.

As a token of appreciation and support from the government of Uganda, 2 acres of Land were freely donated to the project where the school project and orphanage were constructed. CSH has a membership of 650 children in the primary section, 200 children in the secondary section, 120 adults in the adult literacy section and 30 youths and adults who are gaining skills in our vocational training centre.

For other net participants we can offer overnight facilities. Further we can give an expert guidance through trained staff, deliver a lecture and establish new contacts in the field for our work and the following field: translation into English, Russian and German plus 4 local Uganda languages like Luganda, Swahili, Lutooro and Lunyankole.
