About us

WHEEL blossomed in 1999 at Vellore to build hope and empower women and children affected by AIDS epidemic with an integrated approch of prevention care, support and help secure their medical, social and survival needs. WHEELs prevention programs have two aspects: one aimed at the general public and the other at commercial sex workers.

WHEEL runs a home for the HIV/AIDS affected children and it is doing a rehabilitation programme for these people. As a first step it has stated home for these parents' children. At present 40 children are accomodated in its home called 'reboth'. For the children free education and boarding are provided. Its a Christian based organization.

WHEEL is working for the transgender (Eunuchs), for their rights and rehabilitation, develop policies and programs to protect the human rights of the affected section, reduce
stigma and discrimination against affected women and children.

It would like to share the love of God with these people. All the targeted people are living in poverty and neglected by the society. So WHEEL is fighting to get their basic needs and rights. If it gets some volunteers to work for these people it will be useful for WHEEL to make the programs very successfull.

For other net participants we can offer overnight facilities. Further we can give an expert guidance through trained staff and establish new contacts in the field of our work. Anymore in all possible ways we would like to give our support.
