About us

The organization is a not to profit voluntary organization and was formed with the initiative of some social activists, with the idea to promote the life of disabled, disadvantaged and distressed people of Bangladesh who are living in rural areas. In Bangladesh more than 80% people are living rural areas, who are deprived of health care, education, employment, work opportunities, safe drinking water and sanitation, hazard housing, unhealthy environment, etc. We are working for them.

Main program:

To raise awareness, skill development training, provide health care and sanitation, safe drinking water, assistive devices to disabled, education, micro-credit to eradicate poverty, campaign and educate the community how to prevent disability, campaign for equal rights of the disabled, job placement, accessibility and inclusion of disable people in all sector etc.

Present activities:

The organization is now working partly in Rajshahi city Corporation and in Nawhata under Paba Upozilla, Dist. Rajshahi covering 40 villages. Since 2002 we have provided skill development training to 55 disabled men and women, provided micro-credit, provided education support to 20 disabled students, provided health care services to 36 disabled children, provided wheel char, tricycle white cane, hearing aids to 15 disabled men and women. Many of the trained disabled are living independently.
Nizamul Huda is the Executive Director of the organization.

For other net participants we can offer overnight facilities and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
