Über uns

Abofra Foundation is a registered non-profit organization in Ghana seeking to improve the socio-economic well being of vulnerable and destitute children. The idea of Abofra Foundation was earlier discussed in 2013 with family and friends, activities began on 2015 and officially registered and established on January, 2016 by our founder, Kwasi Ampadu and team.
The name Abofra means a child in the Akan (Twi) language in Ghana. The reason for the choice of name is that, children are the hope and future leaders of every town, community, country or nation. So the well-being of children is of our great concern. We believe every child deserves a chance to life.

Our Mission
Free I.C.T Education for every child in Ghana especially the deprived child.
Abofra Art Project is empowering deprived children through imagination.

Our Vision
Raising generational innovators in Ghana to solve local problems through our Free I.C.T Education Project.
We believe that by embracing creativity in children, they then embark on a journey create and innovate.

Programs:
• Abofra Computer Training: We occasionally organize free computer training for children.
• Community Outreach Program: Our Community Outreach Program is born out of love and compassion.
