Sustainable Development Community e. V. is a non-profit organization based in Stuttgart, Germany. We support people for whom the supply of basic needs through hardship or poverty does not exist, regardless of their skin color or religion.
At Sustainable Development Community e. V. we are committed to help advance multiple sustainable development goals (SDGs), also known as the global goals by dedicating our actions to create sustainable means to empower vulnerable populations in rural communities worldwide, improving their food and nutrition situation, access to education and medication on a long term, strengthening their position within their communities.
We are involved in the field of sustainable development worldwide, with the aim of sustainably improving the quality of life of disadvantaged people, especially children and women. We try to change the socio-economic, socio-ecological and environmental economic situation in the areas of our projects sustainably by:
• Improving Access to: Education, Health Services, Drinkable Water
• Construction of proper housing units
• Use of renewable energy systems for energy supply
• Expansion of agriculture and livestock. With the harvested grain, vegetables and fruits as well as milk production the self-supply and sale or trade should be realized.
• Expansion of education opportunities through schools construction and supply of school equipments
• Sensitization of local communities to human rights, especially women and children’s rights.
• Making local communities aware of environmental issues

Projects:
• Emergency Water Relief (Kenya): Sustainable Development Community e. V. provides emergency relief by trucking in water and filling 20,000-liter water storage tanks to deliver life-saving support to keep Maasai community members alive and healthy during droughts.
• Children feeding programme (Uganda): We want to give every child at that school a lunch.., every school day.., throughout the year. It doesn’t have to be a big meal with lots of varieties every day; it has to be a nutritious and healthy meal with all the basic elements in it.
• Stephanie Aerni Orphanage and school (Uganda), which will be managed directly by our branche in Uganda: „Sustainable Development Community Uganda“.
• Chernihiv City Hospital No.3 (Ukraine): Support for this hospital, which began on July 3, 1983 as an infirmary of the Chernihivv Radio Appliance Plant. Today the City Hospital №3 is a multidisciplinary, modern medical and preventive facility equipped with modern medical equipment. The Surgical, Neurological, Gynecological and Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Departments as well as Radioisotope Diagnostics, Bacteriological Chain Reaction and Polymerase Chain Examination laboratories provide medical care to Chernihiov thousands of residents.
• Chernihiv Blood Transfusion Station
• Ambulance for the cityhospital No.3 in Ukraine
• Every Child Should See the Sun at the Chernihiv Regional Educational and Rehabilitation Center: The project “Every Child Should See the Sun” includes the installation of ophthalmic equipment and diagnostic computer complexes to ensure the high quality of diagnosis and treatment of children using modern methods and equipment in order to reduce disability and improve the quality of life of children with vision problems.
• Wheelchair Van For Ukraine
• „Integration“ – Strong Spirit: The NGO Integration was established in 2013 by people on wheelchairs in order to involve people with disabilities in active life, provide them with physical and medical rehabilitation, and also to enable them to rehabilitate and lead a healthy lifestyle.
