Über uns
A Self-help Assistance Program – ASAP - was created in 1992 to cultivate self-reliance, empowering women and youth with skills, resources and knowledge that endure for a lifetime.
The Tools For Empowerment project empowers women and youth with the tools for success. ASAP collects new and used donated tools, which are refurbished as needed. These tools empower vocational school graduates around the world. Seamstresses, caterers, crafters, auto mechanics, carpenters, builders, metalworkers, plumbers and electricians become productive, active members of their communities with Tools For Empowerment. In the US, ASAP works to raise awareness of the truly transformational effect women's empowerment has on families and communities.
In Zimbabwe and Malawi ASAP established sustainable local organizations that implement Savings Group micro-finance and life-skills projects; helping thousands of families improve their household income each year.
For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
