Über uns
Society for Peace Rural Education and Awareness Development (SPREAD) came in to existence in the year 1988, with the initiative of its Secretary who has been working with poorest of the poor, since 1983. SPREAD is registered in the year 1988.
SPREAD is one of the active members NGO with an aim to bring the movement of Child Rights in the District.
From the past 30 years, SPREAD has achieved commendable success in community services and emerged as one of the pioneer voluntary organisation in Kurnool District.
Mission
To care for the basic needs and priorities of the poorest, especially the women and children and empower them towards their over all development and self reliance.
Vision
Power to poor through socio – economic and empowerment of marginalized.
The main motto of the SPREAD is to see the transformation of the lives of the people who are suffering with issues of hunger, poverty, migration and sickness with “Transformation of life through participation”.
Objectives:
• To provide care, shelter and education to the orphans
• To provide school supplies and scholarships and to the under privileged children / students.
• To provide health care and health education to the under privileged rural community.
• To uplift and empower the vulnerable groups physically challenged people with HIV and widow / poverty.
• To women empowerment through skills training and awareness programme.
• To organize women self help groups and help them to start income general projects.
• To organize formal and non formal education centre’s for tribal children, street children and the droup outs.
• To provide relief and rehabilitation for victims of conflict and natural disasters.
Nethikoppula Prasad is the Project Manager at the Society for Peace Rural Education and Awareness Development (SPREAD).
For other net participants we can offer overnight facilities. Also we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
