Über uns
Aid For Girls and Children Foundation (AFGACF), founded in 2016, is a non-governmental and nonprofit organization headquartered in Accra, Ghana. AFGACF is working towards a world where all humans are able to realize their full potential, develop their skills and participate fully in society with special focus on assisting marginalized girls and children in rural communities.
Our vision is to adopt and implement investments promotion for poor girls and their children through education/SMEs and help rebuild rural communities.
Our mission is to aid and educate girls and children in deprived rural communities, through education, financial assistance, and the building of community facilitates, such as schools, water pumps, and libraries. We work to transform the lives of deprived girls and children through education, helping them develop marketable skills to secure decent employment and serve as civic leaders in their communities, giving them a brighter future.
Aims and objectives:
• To establish schools for less privileged girls and vulnerable children in rural communities.
• To train and build the capacity of needy girls at all levels for sustainable development
• To assist vulnerable girls and children through education.
• To reduce the high dependency rate of girls in rural communities through income generating activities.
Our core operational areas:
• Rural Scholarship Program: AFGACF’s primary goal is to help underprivileged girls and children in poor communities obtain quality education.
• Vocational Training: AFGACF´s Vocational Training Skill Program targets vulnerable teenage mothers, high school dropped-outs, victims of domestic violence and women undergoing economic hardship in rural communities; equipping them with much needed skills to lead a productive life and care for their children. we strive to see healthy, educated, and independent women and girls.

Any passionate individual above 18 years old can apply to sponsor a needy child‘s education by sending an expression of interest letter to us. We are open to international partnerships as well.
