Über uns

Women and Children Protection (WCP) is a community-based non-profit organization working to promote human rights, education and health for all vulnerable children and their solidarity. WCP was established in the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2002. Operating in the territories of Uvira and Fizi, WCP works to empower rural communities to promote the rights of women, youth and children through community awareness, coaching, vocational training and counselling.
It is a human rights and sustainable development organization. It works at the grassroots level where it remains in close contact and collaboration with the community groups through which it operates to reduce the risk of parent/child separation and their family reintegration.
The administrative head office is located in Uvira, Commune of Kalundu, City of Uvira in the province of South Kivu.

WCP's vision is a world where every child lives and grows up in a safe and protective family.

Objectives:
• Promote the mutual exchange of knowledge and experiences
• Ensure the transfer of this fair to the seminars, workshops, training sessions and research-action.
• Encourage and support the organizational difficulties of women in roles through the strengthening of individual and collective coexistence on a technical, organizational and institutional level!
• Promote and support local human rights initiatives, on the economic front in favor of our target including the woman and the child.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
