VMG is an acronym for VolunteerMatchGhana. The group is a professional Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) committed to the development of rural areas in its operational areas and is working towards the betterment of deprived communities through volunteer projects. VolunteerMatch Ghana was founded originally in 2005. The group is a non-profit one with no political or religious affiliations.

Our mission is to offer a broad range of opportunities for volunteering or interning in Ghana, particularly through our customized internships. Apart from providing applicants with an opportunity to gain international work experience, our customized opportunities offer the chance to grow closer to a different country and its people.

Our work

Summer Volunteer Travel Programs Abroad:
• We offer a wide variety of specialized volunteer and travel programs during the Summers across different program locations. These Summer Special programs are available in Accra, Kumasi, Hohoe, Cape Coast, Sunyani, Tamale wherein volunteers get a wonderful opportunity to immerse themselves in the local culture, volunteer in the project, explore and travel across the host country.

As a VMG volunteer, you are making a meaningful contribution, working side-by-side with local people and sharing in the goals of the community that warmly welcomes you. VMG takes care of all the logistics so you can focus on your volunteer experience.

For other net participants we can offer overnight facilities. Also we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
