Young Action for Mass, (YAM India) is a registered Non profit, rights based voluntary organization based at Deoghar, Jharkhand. We work with children and women belonging to tribal and marginalized groups. The NGO registration is done on the date of 26.07. 1995. Its parent organisation is Paul Foundation.

Activities:
• YAM (India) is working directly in 148 villages under 16 Panchayat, Deoghar Block of Deoghar districts in Jharkhand and also working in 150 villages in Sahebganj & Godda, districts through network partners for education project.
• Two residential adolescents girls camp schools are being run by the organization in which total 103 students are enrolled, they are being provided life skill vocational training and quality education.
• Enrolment Campaign launched and 250 left out children got admitted in governmental formal schools
• Child centered library
• Child centered news magazine publication b. Sanitation
• Renovation of 15 wells and 30 hand pumps for availability of safe drinking water
• Self-sustainable process of community based solid waste management and education and health, hygiene & sanitation has been established in Deoghar district.
• 17 scavenger families have been rehabilitated and are linked to socio economic development program
• Livelihood/ Natural Resource management; Vermi composting with 8 groups; Pattal making and marketing by 10 groups; Manufacturing of tube light chalk by 4 groups; Incense sticks manufacturing by 7 groups; Plantation of fruit bearing plants; 40 acres SRI/SWI practices in field area by farmers.

The Chairman of YAM India is Meena Singh and Chief Functionary Officer is Sadhana Kumari.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
