Agapè AIDS Support Group is a NGO that mainly works with people who are infected and affected by HIV/AIDS and offers voluntary counselling and testing, facility based hospice care and support. For nearly two decades, members of the organization also focus on fetal alcohol spectrum disorders.

Zelda F. Fortuin is one of the founders and the director of the organization and this is purely voluntary work, since she works as Chief Radiographer at the Paarl Hospital group, where she manages the X-Ray dept. She has been involved in this field since 1994. She is also involved in Fetal Alcohol Spectro Disorder since 1997 as well as other reconstruction and development work, which includes gender issues as well.
