About us
Imani Agape Voice of Hope ‘(HOPE)’, founded in 2005, is a Non-profit making organization which supports child welfare in communities throughout East Africa.
Imani Agape, is a special home that cares for both HIV/AIDS & orphans and non AIDS orphans in Kenya. It was the realization of the vision of Christian friends to care for both HIV/AIDS and non AIDS orphans in Kenya with any willing helpers, he is creating a caring and loving home for these children.
HOPE aims to:
• Develop and maintain sustainable, community-based projects aimed at improving the health, education and welfare of vulnerable children
• Develop globally and culturally aware healthcare students who can advocate for local and international health progress as future healthcare professionals
• Provide education to all
The interventions that have been initiated in each community project are context specific, and are thus varied. HOPE’s interventions can broadly be classified into the following areas:
• Health promotion
• Water and sanitation
• Nutrition
• Education
• Facilitating the enablement of disabled persons.
• Ovc’s Support
Objectives:
• To promote physical growth with nutritional food, proper health care, clean clothing, warm shelter and a loving environment
• To promote emotional wholeness and good attitudes through regular assessment and counseling.
• To offer individual education that is flexible, practical and effective.
• To promote spiritual growth through a christ-centered daily program and practice.
• To encourage good interpersonal relationships by creating a condusive social environment.
• To motivate each child towards learning the necessary life skills that equip them.
Projects:
• Imani Agape would like to establish a vocational training center to give the children skills on tailoring, building, welding, carpentry, and computer studies. It will be called Catherine's Hope Training Center.
For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
