Fatima Ali Joo Foundation Baltistan (FAWF) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization set up in April 2007, for charitable, health, education (both formal and technical for male and female), environment and poverty alleviation purposes.

Fatima Ali Joo Foundation Baltistan is a progressive and dynamic organization, leading the way in human development and poverty alleviation by implementing viable economic development, educational and capacity building programs in Baltistan since 2007.

Mission
To enable Pakistani people to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, the alleviation of poverty, skill development, and the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life

Projects:
• Water and Sanitation projects in District Skardu: This project aims to improve the health and learning performance of school aged children, and by extension that of their families- by reducing the incidence of water and sanitation related diseases. Every child friendly school requires appropriate water and sanitation initiative that keeps the school environment clean and free of smell and inhabits the transmission of harmful bacteria, virus and parasites.
• Teacher's Capacity Building Project: As described above that the standard of education in Baltistan is far behind compared to the other parts of Gilgit Baltistan. Although schools are running in different villages but he quality of teaching learning process is far behind the given standard.
• Vocational Training in Skardu
