• Prevention: Community building; Targeting at-risk population and key stakeholders; Holistic strategies - aiming to address root causes & build a child friendly world

Our Programs:
• Mobil Unit: The Mobile Unit program aims to improve the capacity of children living or working on the street to protect themselves from abuse or exploitation through the provisions of services, support and protection.
• Drop In Center: Bahay Tuluyan's Drop in Center is an open space for children to play, learn, seek refuge, access support services, develop their skills and engage in community activities.
• Emergency & Residential Shelter: In all of our centers we provide emergency shelter to families and children in times of distress including natural and man-made disasters and other crises.
• Bridge & Formal Education: We support all of the children in our shelters and some in the community to go to school. We provide their uniforms, school supplies and other needs as well as assist with enrolment, liaise with the schools and help with homework.
• Independent Living Skills Program: We run a series of modules covering topics such as personality development, relationships & reproductive health, nutrition & wellbeing, career preparedness, entrepreneurial skills and social responsibility.
• Youth Leadership & Facilitation: Our Youth Leadership & Facilitation program covers various sub-programs and activities that have as their foundation the child-to-child approach and children's participation. These programs include our Junior Educators Program, Junior Health Workers Program, Children's Councils and Youth Facilitators Training.
• Participatory Action Research: Bahay Tuluyan conducts research on issues affecting children with the aim of promoting more effective solutions.
• Local, National & International Advocacy: Bahay Tuluyan advocates using a variety of different forms & forums: Children's Rights Workshops, PILAK, Policy Advocacy, Experiential Learning, Special Events.
• Community Development:Dialogues & forums about children's issues; Community building activities (eg: basketball leagues, community days, movie nights); Peace building activities (eg: police & children friendship activities such as clean up days, dialogues, educational sessions)
• Self Reliance & Social Enterprise: we operate several social enterprises that provide opportunities for the young people we work with to receive training and income in a just and supportive context. At the same time these projects generate funds to support our work and help us become more financially sustainable. We recognize the importance of providing children with training and guidance about saving and managing money.
