About us

Sshrishti is a Delhi-based educational NGO, registered as a trust in 2003, created for the benefit of underprivileged children living in Delhi´s slums.

Our mission
• To make a literate India where each child enjoys the childhood with all the due rights, learning a preparing for a life of dignity.
• To bridge the digital divide by taking computer learning to the villages and to the impoverished urban communities.
• To empower the marginalized women by making them literate, aware of their rights and with enhanced capacity to earn a living

Objectives
• Our objective is to provide modern educational facilities to the children of the migrant labourers, who constantly shuttle between their native villages and the city and therefore receive little formal education.
• We also aim to help the children who have dropped out of school and get them back into the schools.
• Along with education we also aim to offer nutrition, basic health care and opportunities for various life skill developments to the underprivileged children.
• Our objective is also to offer computer learning to the children in remote villages of India who have no access to such facilities.

Educational projects:
• Project Sshrishti Ladli: This program initiating the process of schooling among children from families who live in the neighboring slums
• Sshrishti Learning Centre: The children are offered education using modern teaching methods.
• Sshrishti Ladli Jai Hind: Along with basic education, milk and snacks is also offered to forty children. Medical check up of the children and their mothers are conducted every year.
• Sshrishti Kanya Vidyalaya, Vill. Geja,Tilaptabad, NOIDA,UP: This is Sshrishti´s first educational initiative outside Delhi.
Projects for Women´s empowerment:
• Sshrishti Jagriti: Sshrishti Jagriti provides the women of the community with classes for literacy and vocational training. The project aims to make the women confident and with enhanced potential for income generation.
• Sshrishti Computer Centres for children and students
Scholarship Program:
• Sshrishti Amba Dalmia Scholarship Fund: It is an Educational scholarship awarded to meritorious girls from underprivileged background for continuing their education or for taking vocational courses.
