About us
GoodHands Trust, founded in 2021 in Zimbabwe, mainly focused on providing specialized healthcare and education services to persons living with physical disabilities.
It is our goal to make a positive impact and make the world a better place for persons living with physical disabilities.
Beneficiaries:
• Persons living with physical disabilities, visual impairments, hearing impairments, motor impairments. Disabilities only classified as musculoskeletal and neuromusculoskeletal disabilities.
• Vulnerable groups (including teenage mothers, children and orphans)
• Any other persons becoming entitled to benefits under this Trust
Objectives:
• To provide and support specialized healthcare and educational services and social care for our beneficiaries.
• To create homes and hospices providing accommodation for our beneficiaries, especially the orphans.
• To provide a relief response to victims of unplanned natural disasters and pandemics
• To strengthen communities through facilitating resilience within individuals, families and communities by helping individuals and communities in skills training of our beneficiaries from various backgrounds
• To promote the restoration of social cohesion and infrastructure, revive and strengthen family and community support systems and build community capacities to enhance a decent life for our beneficiaries
• To implement an inclusive and target group engaged approach to ensure that interventions foster the dignity and resilience of persons of concern and enables them to lead sustainable livelihoods within their communities
• To advocate for public policy strengthening and service innovation to conform to international standards for community development of benefit to our beneficiaries
Mqhele Mtawarira is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of GoodHands Trust.
For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
