About us
Aspire Rwanda is a registered NGO in Rwanda whose mission is to equip vulnerable and poor women, men and youth with the knowledge, skills, self -esteem and mutual support networks to lift themselves and their families out of poverty.

She also offered adult literacy classes for many of the women and youth who were semi-illiterate and illiterate. Their participants were also equipped in practical and marketable skills to be self-reliant in order and participate in income generaton activities to break the cycle of poverty. In 2009, Aspire Rwanda a non-profit organization was formed and is a legally registered NGO in Rwanda No79/RGB/NGO/2016.

Our work
• Education: Aspire pre-child care center is more than just a learning facility. It is a haven for children from poor families who may not have access to education or proper nutrition in their daily lives. We provide not only engaging and stimulating learning opportunities, but also nutritious breakfast and lunch options to ensure that our students are fueled with the energy they need to thrive throughout the day. We are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of these children, providing them with the tools and support they need to succeed both academically and in life.
• Civic, Social and Health Education: Aspire Rwanda works with women, men and youth from poor communities by empowering them with skills through capacity development. Civic education focuses on civic responsibility and awareness, covering gender based violence, human trafficking, inheritance law, and human rights. Health Education includes reproductive health, nutritional health, hygiene, and mental health.
• Business skills training: Aspire Rwanda works in partnership with the private sector to train community members in various skills to meet market demand for employment that creates economic opportunities. Aspire Rwanda enables access to capital for the vulnerable communities that increase their opportunities to engage in income generation activities through business skills training and provision of micro seed loans thus diversifying their income streams.
• Agriculture: Agriculture is the mainstay of many Rwandans and a source of livelihood. Aspire Rwanda implements programs that focus on capacity building of program beneficiaries in Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in different crop and animal value chains to improve and increase yield that addresses the food and nutrition security at the household and community levels. Aspire Rwanda trains smallholder farmers and their cooperatives on post-harvest handling, food safety to minimize food losses and food waste to meet quality standards for the markets. Aspire Rwanda facilitates partnerships between the farmers and the private sector to access certified seeds, farm inputs and markets for their produce. Aspire Rwanda trains small holders and communities in circular farming, regenerative agriculture and vertical farming practices for adaptation to climate change and the environment and sustainable production.
• Climate change: Climate change is causing adverse effects in the agricultural, economic, health, and social sectors on a global scale. Smallholders and farming communities are the most affected due to the prolonged droughts and heavy rains that impede adequate production in the animal and crop value chains. Aspire Rwanda trains smallholder farmers on climate smart agricultural practices that enable these farmers to adapt to climate change and the changing environment. They are trained in regenerative agriculture and circular farming practices that focus on natural resource management, biodiversity conservation and water management for water security for mitigation and adaptation.
