About us
Women and Children Protection (WCP) is a community-based non-profit organization working to promote human rights, education and health for all vulnerable children and their solidarity. WCP was established in the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2002. Operating in the territories of Uvira and Fizi, WCP works to empower rural communities to promote the rights of women, youth and children through community awareness, coaching, vocational training and counselling.
It is a human rights and sustainable development organization. It works at the grassroots level where it remains in close contact and collaboration with the community groups through which it operates to reduce the risk of parent/child separation and their family reintegration.
