About us
SHIFA Welfare Association (SHIFA) is a non-profit, youth-based, and women-led organization founded in January 2015. Registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Ordinance 1961 in Sindh (DO/SW/JCD/VA-259) and Balochistan (RC/DG/PDMA/Plan/NGO/2022/305), SHIFA is dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities. Established by passionate youth, social leaders, and peacebuilders, SHIFA focuses on driving positive change through sustainable development initiatives.
Vision:
SHIFA aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030, aiming to create a just, equitable, and prosperous future by addressing poverty, health, education, gender equality, water governance, food security, climate action, and peacebuilding.
Mission:
SHIFA works toward achieving the SDGs by empowering marginalized communities, promoting health and well-being, ensuring quality education, and fostering economic growth for women and youth.
SHIFA operates across diverse sectors, including:

• Access to justice, child protection, and governance
• Peacebuilding, youth and women development, and minority rights
Projects:
SHIFA has implemented numerous projects across Sindh and Balochistan, focusing on child protection, electoral inclusion, peacebuilding, and emergency response. Notable projects include:
• Journey for the Change (CFEM): Combats child and early forced marriages through awareness and support services.
• Social, Political, and Electoral Inclusion of Women: Enhances marginalized groups' participation in governance.
• Bridging the Barriers - Inclusion of Transgender Community: Supports transgender inclusion in flood relief efforts.
• Walls for Peace: Promotes community acceptance through local initiatives like wall paintings.
• Emergency Support for 2022 Flood-Affected Population: Provides WASH and shelter services to flood victims.
For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
