About us
Established in 1975, Beauty Without Cruelty has been defending animal rights in South Africa for almost 50 years, and we acknowledge that much work remains in the fields of vivisection (animals used for medical research / testing), animals as entertainment, factory farming, cosmetic testing and the exploitation of our wildlife.
We are a non-profit organisation and a African Animals Rights Organisation.
Beauty Without Cruelty South Africa is a registered animal-protection nonprofit.
We promote compassion for animals through public education, campaigns and cruelty-free consumer guidance.
Our work includes animals used in entertainment, baboon welfare and the Humane Guide.
We welcome contact with organisations working on humane education and animal protection.
Any collaboration depends on our capacity and is agreed individually.
Chad Cupido is the Executive Officer of Beauty Without Cruelty (BWC) South Africa
For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
