About us

Friendship Trends Network (FTN) is a non-profitable, non-governmental organization in Ghana. As part of its objectives in uniting the youth around the world, it encourages intercultural friendship relations between families and friends, groups and individuals throughout the world. The organization also covers voluntary service in Ghana, sightseeing and inter-cultural exchange. What makes Friendship Trends Network special is its ability, to organize and arrange for voluntary workers to come to Ghana in aid of rural communities and the needy; also orphans and the deprived. Tourists and volunteers live with Ghanaian host families and experience the true Ghanaian culture and kind hospitality.

Voluntary service in Ghana:

Friendship Trends Network acknowledges the essentiality of voluntary work and developing countries; this is why it supports, organises and lends a hand in aiding, community schools, orphanage homes, hospitals and other special schools in Ghana. It is a fulfilling experience in learning and sharing, all are welcome to lend a helping hand.

Intercultural exchange:

FTN's endeavor is to help encourage unity among the youth around the world and contribute immensely to global peace. FTN arranges for Ghanaian families or persons to host foreign schools, families, individuals, groups or volunteers, who may want to come and participate in its intercultural programs. Staying with Ghanaian host families or friends will certainly be a learning experience as this will enable both parties to understand certain traditions, cultural practices and beliefs of other people thereby strengthening global unity and peace.

For other net participants we can offer overnight facilities. Further we can procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work. We can arrange Ghanaian home stays.
