About us
The objective of CDESCO is to promote the development of the population in general, with emphasis on the marginal rural and urban sectors.
CDESCO promotes a strategy of intervention in communities, groups and municipalities based on methodologies of participation and the use of audiovisual didactic tools in order to share complex information with often illiterate people, who speak very little Spanish and have limited academic ability. The leader of the organization is the Spanish expert Manuel Calvelo Ríos.
CDESCO is a point of reference for Latin American consultants and communicators who want to share its more than 30 years of pedagogic experience.
After being advised in advance, we can offer overnight accommodation, experts' examinations, conferences, specialized up-to-date information, contacts related to these topics: development communication, exchange of experience, water resources, environmental legislation, rural development, production of audiovisual material, training and in the development of web sites.
