Sobre nosotros

World Animal Net (WAN) was established in 1997 by veterans of the international animal protection movement to improve communication and co-ordination between the worlds animal protection groups.

WAN works from offices in the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, the United States and South Africa. WANs work is primarily conducted by experts and consultants from around the world who donate their time and expertise.

World Animal Nets mission is to improve the status and welfare of animals around the world by offering knowledge and expertise to and building communication and partnership in the animal protection movement.
With over 3,000 affiliates in more than 100 countries and consultative status at the United Nations, World Animal Net is the worlds largest network of animal protection societies

Our aim is to focus the animal protection movement and strengthen the impact of key animal campaigns and legislative efforts. All our activities are guided by our four original aims:
• to avoid duplication and competition
• to stimulate innovative programs
• to share information and expertise
• to stimulate cooperation and coalition building

Services and Activities
