Sobre nosotros
Nepal Development Initiative (NEDI) was founded as a non-profit, non-political a social development organization in 2003. NEDI aims to uplift marginalized community by involving, informing, empowering them on social entrepreneurship, responsible sustainable businesses, social economy and value-driven economic development.

Mission
Promoting social entrepreneurship and responsible sustainable businesses thereby contributing to realization of social solidarity economy, circular economy and sustainable development.
What we do?
• Social Entrepreneurship for Employment and Prosperity (SEEP Program): NEDI has been implementing SEEP program to contributing to achieve sustainable development goals by engaging youth, women and marginalized community on social entrepreneurship.
• Advocacy and Campaign: Family Farming Campaign; Green Sustainable Jobs Campaign; Family Business Campaign; Business and Human Rights Advocacy Campaign
• Networking and Alliance Building: NEDI has established network linkages with the medias, the academies and research institutions at national, regional and international levels, and seeks and obtains critical inputs from them.
• SDGs Localization: Local2030: Localizing the SDGs is a network and platform that supports the on-the-ground delivery of the SDGs, with a focus on those furthest behind. In addition to tools and other knowledge sharing, Local2030 provides easy access to a library of strategies and plans that can help in the localization of the SDGs.
• Business and Human Rights: Facilitating B+HR National Action Plan Preparation and Implementation Process
• Capacity Building on Financial literacy to Youth and Women: NEDI has been organizing financial literacy training to member of Communities Based organizations (CBOs), NGOs and Communities including youth and women. Financial literacy is a process through which people gains a basic understanding of banking, savings, and the importance of good credit.
• Climate School Initiative: NEDI has been engaging with youth and students for awareness raising and capacity building on climate change.
• Ecotourism Promotion: NEDI has been working and conducting various research programs and ecotourism promotion activities in Eastern Nepal in collaboration with the local community and various stakeholders.
• Social Entrepreneurship School (SES): A social entrepreneur is a person who explores business opportunities that have a positive impact in their community, in the country or in the world.
• Social Entrepreneurship Action Week
• Biodiversity Conservation: NEDI has been actively involving in various natural resources conservation, awareness-raising activities, endangered wildlife species conservation and Environmental campaigns.
