The Edukey Community School:
The practical idea of establishing EDGSO was conceived, developed and financed by and through the private efforts and small pockets of a small group of personalities who had great love and passion to care and support the communities’ suffering children, youth and single women. In the year 2009, their common beautiful idea was translated first into a community benefiting small primary school project: Edukey Community School at Mangaliba village in Nakisunga sub county in mukono district to provide holistic primary school education to the most needy community children living in Mangaliba village and beyond at a small cost-sharing system.
With support from EDGSO,the school has procured and installed a strong power solar system in support of the established school boarding section program.
School’s Main Activities: Normal primary school education teaching to pupils five days a week. Edukey Community School teaches normal primary education curriculum and cocurricular activities including training pupils in computer, cloth tailoring and liquid soap making skills makes the school unique more than any other in mangaliba village and Nakisunga sub county.
