Waklisa Development Association (WDA) is a non-profit association established on May 2021 under the regional CSOs scheme in Afar region.

Vision
WCA envisions – Seeing equally privileged, Developed, transformed and poverty free community (pastoralist)

Mission
Enhance the socio-economic well-being of the Afar people by providing access to essential services, improving livelihoods, ensuring quality education and healthcare for all, empowering women and youth, addressing climate change, fostering peace building, and promoting sustainable development to eliminate poverty.
