Many social institutions are looking for furniture in good condition, while at the same time, millions of functional tables, chairs, and cabinets are disposed of by companies every year.
However, there is often no connection between these two worlds:
no contact persons, too few time slots for pickups, and hardly any information about where furniture is currently available.

This is exactly where WeiterGebenOrg comes in.
Suppliers and recipients are brought together and steps are taken to ensure that usable furniture does not end up in the bulky waste, but arrives where it is urgently needed: at schools, daycare centers, clubs, and other non-profit organizations.

What we do
We publish furniture donations from companies and public authorities throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and make them visible to social and non-profit institutions.
We actively search for suitable recipients and accompany the mediation process.
We encourage companies not to dispose of their well-preserved furniture, but to pass it on as a donation in kind.
We create transparency about furniture disposal, environmental consequences, and reuse options, thereby contributing to a better ecological balance.
Furniture donations go primarily to social or charitable organizations.
WeiterGebenOrg operates on a non-profit basis; our goal is impact, not profit.

Why we exist
Reuse is one of the fastest and most effective ways to conserve resources. Preserving furniture that is still usable saves CO₂, money, transport routes, and disposal costs, and makes everyday life easier for many non-profit organizations. We help ensure that this opportunity is not wasted.

On request we can offer other net participants overnight accommodation. We can also give advice, give a presentation, and provide up-to-date information and contacts in the field of our work.
