Great Hope Ministries (GHMU) is an Ugandan indigenous Church based Organization committed to Evangelism, Education and empowering the body of Christ to fulfill the great Commission. GHM was founded in 2004 and has been a great encouragement and linking agent to many ministries and organizations worldwide, connecting kingdom people to kingdom people, networking kingdom resources with kingdom needs.

Mission goals:
• Evangelism:
• Education: Focusing on formal and non formal educational seeking to establish primary, secondary and vocational skills training schools.
• Empowerment: We want to focus on helping grassroots community/church based organizations to set up management structures so that they can effectively achieve their intended goals.

Service projects:
• Urgently needed is construction of classrooms at the GHM School in Mukono.
• Urgently needed is a water well (Borehole), at the community where we have a partner Church in Kamuli district. This Church has an orphanage school helping over 200 children and the entire community has no water. The old borehole which was build by local government around 1954 is about 3km from the school facility which makes children´s lives to be at risk. We are seeking anyone who can adopt this project or help fund this project in any way.
• Micro empowerment funds needed to help Churches/Communities groups start and develop small businesses. Each Church group will need to have its own start up micro business revolving funds. This will allow each Church group to be self supporting as all their members will be involved in some group income generation activity or able to access a revolving micro business loan. Each group will need ,500 eighteen Church/Community groups need to be aided.
• Child sponsorships to help support children in education, boarding, food, clothing, medicare, personal hygiene items and other needs.

The Empowerment Action Program (TEAP): TEAP is a capacity building, empowerment and child development project of GHMU. This is registered independently as community based organizations in Mukono and Wakiso districts. The project was founded by several individuals who were concerned with the suffering and needs of vulnerable poor women, orphans and vulnerable children.
Vision: To see a holistic transformation among less privileged women, men and children improve in their wellbeing economically, physically, socially and spiritually.
Mission: To build capacity of less privileged persons, empowering women and promoting holistic child development through and foster viable community development.
Objectives:
• Building the capacity of community based organizations to be able to provide effective, appropriate services in their localities.
• Empowering women especially single mothers, Widows and those affected by HIV/AIDS to become self sufficient and self reliant.
• Facilitating child development by promoting care and concern to orphans and vulnerable children, supporting them in short and long-term needs.
