Sobre nosotros
When The World Said No To War is a photographic exhibition, education forum and book on the historic anti-war protests that took place around the world in February 2003.
When The World Said No To War was conceived as a tribute to the spirit of the 35 million people who took part in the demonstrations, to their belief that if enough people spoke out, governments would listen and the world would change. It is a tribute to the fact that this belief still persists and is growing every day.
When The World Said No To War aims to illustrate the huge scale of the opposition not only to the war in Iraq, but to all war and to inspire those who come in contact with it, to continue to work for peace.
The exhibition and book consist of a collection of powerful images plus writing contributions from some of the world's most well-known thinkers, writers, and visionaries. The education forum will consist of films and videos, plays, music, lectures, and panel discussions centred around the theme of peace.
The project is not politically aligned and all funds raised will be put back into the project.
For other net participants we can offer expert guidance through trained staff, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the following field: the oganisation and promotion of a photography exhibition and associated events.
