Sobre nosotros
EcoSolidar is a non-profit development organisation with the aim to empower people in need to help themselves and to live in dignity.
"An exchange at eye level, mutual respect for each other and an honest interest in the realities on the ground are the strong fundaments of our collaboration with partner organisations that empower people to help themselves."
Since 1986 EcoSolidar has been supporting local small-scale projects in Asia, Africa and Latin America in the area of
• education
• empowerment of women, children and young adults
• organic farming
• peace work
Solidarity, autonomy and respect for nature and for the resources of the future generations are the fundamental values of our collaboration with local grassroots projects in the global south. We work with partner organizations in which the people affected carry out their own projects. Our development work has a long lasting effect because our project partners are able to express their needs and formulate their own ideas for the future of their communities.
Furthermore EcoSolidar promotes exchange meetings, establishes a network between the partner organisations and encourages their continuing self-organisation.
