Qui sommes-nous
The non-profit making Rolf Buscher Trust, based in Leinfelden-Echterdingen in Germany, was founded by the businessman Rolf Buscher in 2005.
Our work focuses on education in developing countries. At present we support various development aid projects, most of which are in Africa. Our concern is to see that young people receive a good education and can thus lead independent lives.
The aid provided by the Rolf Buscher Trust is centred round sustainability. We involve local village communities in the planning, as well as in the building and refurbishing of schools and kindergartens, in order to ensure their long-term survival. We also see it as our task to train teachers, parents and family members in modern teaching methods and about international children’s rights. Professional partner organisations on the spot such as the German Blindenhilfswerk (Social Aid for the Blind), Unicef and ChildFund Deutschland help to see our projects through and ensure that our funds are spent wisely and efficiently.
Ann Yacobi is in charge of public relations for the Trust.
On request, we can offer other net participants a consultation, an expert opinion or make a presentation. We can provide up-to-date information and contacts in the field of our work.
