Qui sommes-nous
Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) South Africa is a Non-Profit Organisation who aims to reach the “unreachable” with the saving Gospel of Christ through aviation! MAF aims to see isolated people physically and spiritually transformed in Christ’s name.
MAF pilots are exceptionally skilled, landing in harsh terrain; bringing food, aid, medical care and other supplies to isolated people groups in South Africa and surrounding countries. MAF aims to multiply the effectiveness of the church by using aviation and technology to overcome physical barriers in reaching the world for Christ.
MAF has been operating in South Africa since the 1970’s and is part of a worldwide organisation, operating in 32 countries with 122 aircraft. Every 3 minutes, somewhere in the world one of MAF’s planes take off; bringing hope to someone who desperately needs it.
Mission Aviation Fellowship South Africa, working in Southern Africa, is a ministry team centred in Jesus Christ. As part of His church, we actively seek to witness the Gospel of Christ and extend His Kingdom through the use of aviation; by providing an efficient and effective air service to the Church, and strategically positioning our staff for ministry and witness worldwide. We are part of a world-wide organisation operating in over 40 countries. In Africa there are programmes active in 22 countries.
Our purpose is to multiply the effectiveness of the church using aviation and logistical support, to help overcome barriers in reaching the world for Christ.
Leon Prinsloo is the Chief Executive Officer of the Mission Aviation Fellowship - South Africa.
